Hope you had a lovely weekend. So recently Marc Jacobs in association with Coca-Cola Light launched his limited edition cans. The cans are beautiful, there are 3 cans to collect. I just had to get my hands on them but unfortunately I could only find 2, I love the '90s and I love the '00s.
I wanted to keep them but having empty tins standing on you shelf doesn't look so appealing. So I decided to make candles out of them. I love candles so these would look so superb!
To make the candles I took 2 already used pillar candles (I used vanilla, love the smell), chopped them up and re melted them in a double boiler. I cut the tops of the candles off with a tin opener. Once the candles were melted I poured them slowly into the can. I would suggest placing the cans somewhere out of reach before you pour them in as they are too hot to handle once the wax is in. Once the started setting, I added the wicks from the old pillar candles and let them totally set.
And viola, beautiful Marc Jacobs Candles!
